The Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Shirley Ayorkor Botwey has met Ghana International, Michael Essien in Azerbaijan.
It is unclear what the subject of discussion of the meeting between the two was.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs which made the announcement on its Facebook Page a few hours ago, failed to tell what the meeting was about.
The Ministry wrote ‘’Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Hon. Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey has met with Michael Essien, former Black Stars and Chelsea star in Azerbaijan.

Michael is currently based in Azerbaijan where he plays Sabail FK as a Midfielder.
He has also been capped for the Ghana national team, the Black Stars more than 50 times.
