McDan Entrepreneurship Challenge: Best 20 Businesses selected-to be given financial support

Chairman of the McDan Group of Companies, Dr. Daniel McKorley has announced the selection of the top 20 Businesses in the 2019 edition of the McDan  Entrepreneurship Challenge.

Dr. McKorley who is the brain behind the Challenge, announced that the selected businesses will be rewarded with the needed financial injection to scale up their operations.

He added that the selected businesses must first of all undergo a one week intensive incubation programme to refine their business models.

The McDan Entrepreneurship Challenge is seeking to promote entrepreneurship among the youth in the country through idea development, training, mentoring through to project implementation.

The McDan Entrepreneurship Challenge is being organized in collaboration with Today’s Entrepreneurs Network (TEN Ghana), who maintain that, youth unemployment remains the biggest national security threat to the  country  and the McDan Entrepreneurship Challenge is seeking to help empower the youth by creating their own jobs.

Dr. McKorley is offering funding of up to a Hundred Thousand United States Dollars (US$100,000.) to the best among the lot, to invest in their business models.

The Challenge has been airing on some selected television stations in Ghana and is intended to make it possible for the public to participate and learn some entrepreneurial skills and project development.
