McDan Boss Chairs U-17 LOC

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the McDan Group of Companies, Dr. Daniel McKorley has been appointed the Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee for the newly established U-17 Inter-Club Champions League and Inter-Regional Challenge Cup.

Dr.  McKorley known as McDan in sports circles has been appointed by the Kurt Okraku-led Ghana Football Association (GFA) to chair a nine-member Committee that has the Chairman for the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) as Vice Chairman.

A statement issued by the GFA said the Committee has been tasked to ensure effective organization of the competitions which will commence across the country in September and October 2021.

“Among their responsibilities will be to raise the needed funds to manage the competition, suggest format/competition rules to the Executive Council for approval and the general planning and management of the two juvenile tournaments. The new competition is to unearth talents at the juvenile level,” the statement said.
