Reliable information available to BestNewsGH.com indicates that there is uneasy calm at the national Headquarters of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) over the leaked audio tape of the party’s National Chairman Samuel Ofosu Ampofo.

Reports from the Adabraka headquarters of the party says the entire party office is quite with the national leadership yet to report to office, but communicating on the way forward, particularly to fish out the one who recorded and leaked the tape.

The source said the party leadership are still in shock and wondering who it is that could betray them in such manner, as to expose their ‘strategies’ going into the 2020 elections.

It is believed that the tape was recorded and sold to ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) firebrand and Member of Parliament for Assin Central Constituency, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong who got his private radio station Oman Fm to air it during the station’s Tuesday Night popular political talkshow programme, Boiling Point.

The explosive leaked audio has the NDC National Chairman outlining what the party did during the Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election and why the decision to back out of the election at some point was arrived at.

The Pentecost church elder is also heard inciting and instigating party youth against the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, Jean Mensa and the Chairman of the National Peace Council Rev. Professor Emmanuel Asante.

He is also heard revealing how they will make life unbearable for some Ghanaians, particularly members of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), saying ‘’we will go after them. But we will not go after them face-to-face. We have to use tactical operation to make life uncomfortable for them. We will target some people and we will let the people know that their lives are in danger. They themselves will be careful. As for that one, I want to assure you that we will go all out to ensure that it happens. As president Mahama said, when it comes to this game, we are better than them’’.
