EPHESIANS 5:20
Gratitude, gratefulness and Thanksgiving grow from a heart that is overwhelmed at what God has done, is doing and ultimately will do for His children.
Everyone has something to be GRATEFUL for; we are saved and sealed by Jesus Christ at a very high cost, that alone is enough to be thankful for. There’s no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. ( Romans 8:1) A grateful heart is a sign of a spirit-filled believer; and a grateful heart is developed as you learn to lean and depend on God and yield to His spirit. Our ingratitude stems from the fact that, we focus more on what we have missed rather than what we have gained; what we don’t have, rather than what we have.
“The optimist says, the cup is half full; The pessimist says, the cup is half empty”. But, “The child of God says, my cup runs over”. “Be thankful, nobody knows what God knows about you”.
If you can practice; “Thank You Jesus For Always Being Near”; for just a month, you will see a great difference in your life. A grumbling spirit guarantees an opportunity for the devil. When you begin to grumble, you become bitter, jealous and envious. This opens the gate for the devil to enter with deception, destruction and division.
Whenever you express gratitude, it helps you experience God’s peace.
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication WITH THANKSGIVING, let your requests be made known to God. And the PEACE of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus”.( Philippians 4:6-7)
Anytime you thank God for answering your prayers in the past, God’s peace guide and guard your heart and mind for the present and the future. God has answered so many of your prayers in the past, He will surely answer the rest in the future. Learn to be generous; learn to appreciate what God and others have done for you.
Only greedy and selfish people don’t appreciate little things. They are never satisfied with anything, so they will never appreciate anything.
