Ledzokuku MP launches skills support programme, gives 2 taxis, Benz bus, tricycles and tools to constituents

The ruling New Patriotic Party Member of Parliament for Ledzokuku constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Dr. Bernard Okoe Boye has launched a Skills Support Programme for his constituents.

Named the Dr. Okoe Boye Skills Support Programme, the MP who is also the Board Chairman of the Korlebu Teaching Hospital said the aim of the initiative is to empower the constituents economically and give some employment to the hardworking youth in the constituency.

At launch, he gave two taxis at a heavily discounted price to two constituents who are supposed to work with the cars and repay over a period of time.

The Young Member of Parliament also donated a Benz Bus, a number of tricycles and some tools to some of the youth in the constituency to enable them start their own businesses.

The event which was held at the Teshie SDA Church, according to Dr. Okoe Boye is all geared towards supporting businesses and providing jobs.
