The dream of loudmouth activist and membr of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Wonder Madilo to contest the national youth organiser slot of the party has been dashed.

Mr. Madibo together with Elikem Kotoko another aspirant for the same slot were disqualified by the party’s vetting committee on the grounds that they have never held any elective party office.

The vetting committee chaired by the party’s General Secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah aid as of the time they appeared before the committee, they had not held any elective office in the party and so were automatically not qualified to contest the election as per the party constitution.

Information available to BestNewsGH.com indicates that the guidelines for the conduct of elections forbid an aspirant who has never held any elective position prior to the elections from participating in the elections.

However, two other aspirants, George Opare Addo and Brogya Gyamfi were able to sail through and will be the two main candidates contesting the national youth organiser position.

The vetting of other aspirants continues and BestNewsGH.com will keep readers posted on any new developments and how they pan out.
