Razak Opoku, Kofi Akpaloo, others form ALLIANCE FOR NEW REGISTER

Razak Kojo Opoku, an ardent activist of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has announced the formation of a pressure group called the Alliance for New Register.

The group which has Mr Razak Kojo Opoku as the Founder and Secretary-General, also has the Founder and leader of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), Percival Kofi Akpaloo, as Chairman.

According to the group in an announcement publicizing its formation and sighted by BestNewsGH.com, the Alliance for New Register  is a Patriotic and Nonpartisan Movement aimed at rallying Ghanaians in support of the Electoral Commission of Ghana for the Compilation of a new Credible Voters Register ahead of the 2020 Presidential and Parliamentary Elections.

BestNewsGH.com can report the group as indicating their resolve to expose what they say is the lies, ignorance and double standards of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) and its allied.

‘’We are determined to expose the lies, ignorance and double standards of the NDC and it allies, and the mischievous Civil Society Organizations who are against the compilation of a  New Voters Register. We will educate Ghanaians home and abroad about the relevance and the need for a New Credible Voters Register ahead of the 2020 General Elections’’  a statement jointly signed by  Mr. Percival Kofi Akpaloo and Mr. Razak Kojo Opoku read in part.
