The ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has ordered all party flags to fly at half-mast for one week in honour of the late NPP Member of Parliament for the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency Emmanuel Kyeremanteng Agyarko.

The party which issued a statement a while ago and signed by the General Secretary, John Boadu said the late MP was undoubtedly one of the experienced legislators on the ticked of the party and until his demise was the chairman of the environment, science and technology committee of parliament.

‘’The party accordingly extends its heartfelt condolences to his immediate family, particularly his lovely wife and children for such incalculable loss. The NPP equally commiserates with close associates of the late MP, the parliament of the republic of Ghana and the rest of the nation for losing such a great asset by all standards’’ the statement said.

The letter assured that the party will stand with the bereaved family and will provide them with the needed support in such difficult moments.

It added that the late MP had paid his dues to the NPP and the country at large, having at some point served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Food and Drugs Authority during the John Agyekum Kufuor presidency.
