Just in: Aliu Mahama’s Mafara Hotel completely burnt down in Tamale

Confirmed reports from the Northern Regional Capital, indicates that a very popular hotel in the Tamale Metropolis belonging to Late Vice President Aliu Mahama has been razed down completely by fire.

The Russian Bungalow-based 3.5 star Mafara hotel according to BestNewsGH.com sources got burnt a while ago.

Farouk Mahama, son of the late Vice president who confirmed the unfortunate incident explained that even though properties running into several thousands got destroyed in the process, no life was lost.

Authorities in the Region are yet to comment on the matter, particularly with regards to the cause of the fire, but it is believed to have emanated from a power surge.
