Just in: gov’t gives Kantanka Automobile 10 year tax holiday

Information available to BestNewsGH.com indicates that government has given a 10 year tax holiday to indigenous Ghanaian automobile firm, Kantanka Motors.

The move is to aid the company produce vehicles for the mass market and sell at affordable prices to Ghanaians.

The company will also enjoy duty-free importation of materials and other equipment for assembling and manufacturing purposes.

This was announced by the Chief Executive Officer of Kantanka Group of Companies Nana Kwadjo Safo Ankofena Jnr at the end of year party and awards ceremony held at his residence in Kwabenya yesterday 6th January 2019.

The company has been expectant of this gesture from government for some time now, and this comes in handy as the company looks to expand and increase its production base, with plans to export in the near future.
