John Mahama set to address Ghanaians barely a few hours after President Akufo-Addo

Former President John Dramani Mahama who is also the presidential candidate of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) is set to address Ghanaians at 10:30 am today, Sunday, March 22, 2020.

This comes barely a few hours after President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo addressed the nation in what can be described as an upsate on the COVID-19 Pandemic.

The President in his address last night gave details of what government was doing and measures being instituted to ensure the country contains the pandemic, which numbers keep increasing by the day.

Per the president’s update, Ghana has so far recorded 21 cases of the pandemic.

BestNewsGH.com can report that Mr. Mahama’address will also focus on COVID-19, particularly the call by the NDC for a 3 day prayer and fasting session for the nation to overcome the pandemic.

He made the announcement on his Facebook Page where he wrote:

“Good morning everyone. I will be live with you this morning, at 10.30am, as we hold a service to end the three-day prayer and fasting period declared by the National Democratic Congress. I welcome you to watch the Service here on my page or join us via WoezorTV or TV XYZ. Remember to wash your hands regularly with soap and under running water, especially after you touch any commonly-used surface. Or keep a hand sanitizer and use it when required.”
