Comic actor and Member of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Clement Bonney, popularly known as Mr Beautiful, has jabbed failed General Secretary of the Party, Koku Anyidoho, warning him to be mindful of his pronouncements with regards to the contribution of celebrities to the NDC campaign in the last elections.

His outburst comes on the back of assertions by Mr. Anyidoho that the celebrities who joined the NDC campaign in the last elections contributed to the loss of the party in the elections as most of them were given large amounts of cash and brand new vehicles but failed to help the party win the election.

According to Mr. Anyidoho, it has been captured in the Kwesi Botwey report that cash and goodies which should have gone to party foot soldiers to motivate them to campaign were rather given to the non-performing celebrities.

But Mr. Bonney strongly disagrees, saying it will be foolish for anyone to downplay the role they played in the NDC campaign.

‘’Koku Anyidoho should be very measured when he is speaking because he doesn’t know the role everyone plays and where they played those roles. What he said is a big insult to us. How can he say ‘’when someone was touting one village one dam and free SHS, NDC was showcasing clowns and comedians on its campaign platforms. You can’t say that’’ he said.

Mr. Beautiful opined that he and Bob Okalla including one DJ Willie were usually an advanced team that went ahead to campaign venues before the president, to entertain chiefs and dignitaries in order that they don’t get bored before the president and other big shots in the party arrive.

‘’So Koku should be very careful. He is a big man and she should stop going on that tangent. When we were campaigning in the scorching sun where was he? Was he not driving in a Landcruiser? He should stop the nonsense’’ he added.
