The National Youth Organiser of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Henry Nana Boakye has apologized to the generality of the Ghanaian people and listeners of Accra based Asempa Fm in particular, for the altercation he had with the National Communications Officer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) on Asempa Fm’s Eko Sii Sen programme yesterday, February 1, 2019.

Video of a verbal altercation between the two young politicians went viral yesterday after tempers flared high in the studios of the media outlet.

But the NPP youth leader in a statement issued a while ago said ‘’regardless of the repulsive, provocative conduct by the NDC’s National Communications Director on the show which included unacceptable verbal attacks on the President and myself, I am, upon sober reflection, apologising to listeners of Asempa FM and Ghanaians for the manner in which I responded’’.

Nana B as the NPP National Youth Organiser is popularly known assured that he remains committed to issues-based discourse on the airwaves and such an incident will not be repeated ever again.
