A former member of Parliamnet for the Ejura/Sekyedumase Constituency in the Ashanti Region on the ticket of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Alhaji Mohammed Issifu Pangabu has lauded government for the planting for food and jobs programme, saying he just bought his first brand new Toyota Landcruiser V8 from the supply of inputs under the programme.

He is unhappy that his own party folks have berated the programme and is discouraging members from part-taking in it.

Alhaji Pangabu also confessed that several members of the opposition NDC in the Ejura/ Sekedumase constituency have greatly benefitted from the initiative ‘’saying, I don’t understand why my party continues to speak against it’’.

He continued ‘’look my brother, since this government introduced the planting for food and jobs programme, I have seen several members of the NDC in this constituency who have benefitted from the supply of inputs.
