Loudmouth ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for Assin Central Constituency, Kennedy Agyapong has denied media reports that he has been picked up by the police in connection with the murder undercover journalist colleague of Anas Aremeyaw Anas, Ahmed Suale.

According to him, he has not received any invitation from the police, neither has he been arrested in connection with the matter, adding that he is innocent and will go any length to defend himself.

There are reports in the media and on social media to the effect that Mr. Agyapong had been arrested in connection with the murder, but speaking on Accra based Asempa Fm Thursday January 17, 2019, Mr. Agyapong said he has not been arrested nor invited by the police.

He described as stupid and foolish, assertions by Mr. Anas Aremeyaw Anas and his lawyer, Kissi Adjabeng that he was responsible for the murder of Mr. Suale who was brutally killed by unknown assailants, said to be two in number and riding a motorbike last night in Madina yesterday, Wednesday, January 16, 2019.

Several people in the country who have been shocked by the death of Tiger Eye PI member Ahmed Hussein-Suale who was shot dead at Madina in Accra yesterday Wednesday January 16 2019, are pointing accusing fingers at the ruling New Patriotic Party Member of Parliament for Assin Central Constituency, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong.

They have asked the security agencies to invite the legislator who is on record to have threatened and insulted the deceased and called for him to be beaten and thought a lesson for interrogation and to assist with investigations.

‘’One boy that is dangerous, he lives in Madina here and he is called Ahmed. If you meet give him dirty slaps. If he dares come to this Kencity premises, I am giving you the authority to beat him well, whatever happens I will pay’’ the Businessman cum politician said on his privately owned Net2 Television when the Number 12 expose by Anas Aremeyaw Anas and his Tiger Eye PI team was premiered last year.

The late Hussein-Suale was shot by two gunmen on a motorbike as he drove in his car. The gunmen broke the car window and shot him 3 times, twice in the chest and once in the neck, killing him instantly.

Meanwhile Tiger Eye PI boss Anas Aremeyaw Anas has indicated in the strongest terms yet that the team will not be intimidated and cowed into submission following the murder of one of them.

‘’We shall not be silenced in our fight against corruption. Journalism is not a crime’’ he said
