I am stepping aside to allow investigations progress, but I know I will be exonerated-Charles Bissue

The Secretary to the Inter-Ministerial Committee on Mining and Environment, Charles Bissue has explained that his decision to step aside to allow for investigations into allegations of corruption against him as contained in the latest video released by the Anas Aremeyaw Anas and his Tiger Eye PI team is to ensure transparency and accountability.

According a statement he issued yesterday March 1, 2019, Mr. Bissue said he was happy that investigations have been launched into the matter, adding that he is certain he will be vindicated in the end.

‘’I am prepared to avail myself at all times to the investigation process. I am confident that at the end of it all, I will be exonerated and my good name will be preserved’’ he added.
