Father of late Ghanaian music diva Ebony, Nana Opoku Kwarteng, has stressed that no artiste can replace his daughter except Ebony’s elder sister.

According to him, latest sensation, Wendy Shay who is being touted as Ebony’s replacement can never reach the heights that diva reached, adding that it is onpy Ebony’s elder sister who can be a fitting and perfect replacement.

According to Mr Kwateng, plans were far advanced to release a couple of songs last year, adding that Adwoa  Poku Kwarteng, Ebony’s elder has been busy with her national service, a situation that stalled the plan.

Mr. Opoku Kwateng in an interview with Ike De Farmer on Brekum based Shalom 100.3 Fm, monitored by BestNewsGH.com,  Mr Kwateng said “Ohemaa (Ebony) is unique. She is in her own world and class in terms of music. No one can replace her. Wendy Shay could be greater but nowhere near Ebony. The only person who can replace Ohemaa is her elder sister Adwoa Poku Kwateng. We are planning on releasing couple of songs to continue with the legacy Ohemaa left behind”

He further added that, Ebony’s sister will continue the legacy Ebony left behind in her short reign in the music industry.
