Renowned legal practitioner and founder of Sam Okudzeto & Associates, Sam Awuku Okudzeto is pushing for the compilation of a complete statistical database of all Ghanaian professional outside the country to ensure that the country taps into their expertise as and when they are needed.

To this end, he wants the various Ghanaian missions abroad to begin the process of compiling such information as soon as possible.

‘’I have told those in the Ghanaian missions anytime I travel outside that you should have a statistical data of Ghanaians in the country they are serving, know their background, if there is a problem at home, you should be able to go to your computer and say we have this person here, we have this one there and the other there, let’s bring them to help deal with the problem’’ he said at a public forum attended by BestNewsGH.com.

According to him, expertise are available for sale these days and that the person necessarily need not be a Ghanaian and so once you are confronted with a problem, you go round the world and look for people with the background and expertise and invite them to come and help, adding that if Ghanaians are unwilling to get back and help when issues arise, the country is better of dealing with others who have the expertise.

‘’I have been to meetings where people sit down and behave as if they have got a white skin and therefore knows everything and I shut them up and I say what school did you that I did not go to, I just know as much as you do. So let’s talk on issues, don’t come and bluff because if you bluff you won’t get away’’ he added.
