Some patrons of the Adomi bridge at Atimpoku in the Eastern Region had the shock of their lives when they were charged 4 Ghana cedis for taking pictures on the bridge.

A receipt issued to one Mr. Johannes Nartey Guru who patronized the bridge and dated 19th April 2019 said the amount was tourist fee.

The receipt was issued and stamped by the Asuogyaman District Assembly.

It is unclear when the new charges took effect but one thing is sure: it is a very unpopular fee that will definitely get tongues wagging for long time to come if nothing is done about it.

Read the additional post Mr. Nartey Guru added to his receipt on his Facebook Wall.
