Former first lady, Nana Konadu Agyemang-Rawlings has authored what can easily pass as her first book barely a few days after the grand celebration of her 70th birthday.
Titled ‘It takes a woman’ the book according to sources close to the former first family is centered on her life as a former lady and the important roles she played while at the helm of affairs as first lady to help develop the country.
It looks at her lead role in the 31st December Women’s movement in the revolutionary days and her contribution to womanhood in Ghana.
She believes her life is shaped by heritage, leadership and the women who defended hope in the country even when all hope was lost.
It is unclear when the book would be launched for the eagerly awaiting public to grab copies and have a peep into what is in there, but this website will keep readers abreast with any new development.
