Several days after releasing a payment schedule to ensure customers access their dividends, gold trading firm, Menzgold is yet to fulfill the promise.

Scores of customer yesterday October 2 and today October 3 2018 have besieged the company’s premises across the country in anticipation of receiving their monies.

BestNewsGH.com’s visit to the company’s office in East Legon and the one on the N1 stretch revealed scores of anxious customers engaging in angry banters with the company’s security men.

The customers told this Website that the company, after promising them their monies has failed to deliver.

They argue that some of them traveled long distances with the expectation that they will be paid, based on assurances they received from the company.

Menzgold’s operations seem to have taken a nosedive after the Bank of Ghana and the Securities and Exchange Commission closed down parts of its operations, accusing it of infringing on the laws relating to specialized deposits taking institutions, accusations the company has denied.

The company has sued both the Bank of Ghana and the Securities and Exchange Commission on the matter.
