Aggrieved customers of First Allied Savings and Loans in the Ashanti Regional Capital, Kumasi have petitioned the Regional Coordinating Council in the region to intervene by helping them retrieve their deposits at First Allied Savings and Loans Company.

The Customers accuse the company of failing to pay them their monies for 4 consecutive months now.

The placard wielding customers besieged the premises of the Regional Coordinating Council amid chanting of war songs where they presented a petition to the Regional Minister Simon Osei Mensah.

They have also served notice of their intention to take the action a notch higher if the Regional authorities fail to address their concerns by bussing themselves to Accra to petition President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

The customers have for some time now been up in arms against the company for failing to pay their deposit to them and have tried various methods aimed at persuading the company to effect the payment to no avail.

The regional Minister assured the angry customers of liaising with the appropriate authorities to find a solution the problem.

Petitioning the president is seen as the last resort in their quest to retrieve their deposits.
