The National Organiser of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Sammi Awuku has said the 2020 elections is about the future of the country and the generality of the children.
According to the hardworking NPP National Organiser who has been out and about campaigning in the Northern parts of the country, the party and President Akufo-Addo must be retained to ensure the consolidation of the progress made over the last nearly four years since the party assumed the reins of power.
Mr. Awuku who was addressing the people of Gushegu in the Northern Region when he joined the campaign trail of the NPP Parliamentary candidate for the Gushegu Constituency, Hon. Hassan Tampuli, said the area will continue to see massive development under the NPP and President Akufo-Addo.
He reminded the people of projects such as the 1 Village 1 Dam, a Shea processing Company under the 1 District 1 Factory, a new health centre and the Free Senior High School policy which has seen many young people from the area as beneficiaries.
Mr. Awuku made a strong case for the election of Mr. Tampuli as the Member of Parliament for the Gushegu Constituency, describing him an agent of development who has immensely contributed to the development of the area over the years.
He told the people to vote massively for President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo who has shown by all standards to be honest, decisive, hardworking, development-oriented and has shown the capacity to hold the country together.
Scores of people from the constituency poured out to meet Mr. Awuku and his team which included the Northern Regional Chairman of the NPP, Mr. Mohammed A. Baantima Samba and other regional executives.
