Dr. Jasaw explained that the initiative to support schools in the area with computers and other teaching and learning materials became necessary, after he toured the entire constituency to ascertain the pace of development.

The set of computers, which was donated to Funsi RC Basic School and Kundugu Basic School, were provided by the NASCO Feeding Minds Foundation, which is working to improve ICT Education in Northern Ghana.

Dr Jasaw further indicated, that he is in touch with other cooperate bodies and agencies to help provide many of these logistics and other social amenities to improve the lives of the people of Wa East.

“I have gone round the entire constituency and what I saw is sad. I will continue to tap from my wide network to be able to support more schools in the District with more Teaching and Learning Materials to help improve the overall quality of education. We lack almost everything as a people” he averred.

He assured other communities and schools in the area of his continuous support to them and promised to extend the distribution of the computers to other schools in the District.
