The Media Coalition on the Right to Information (RTI) Bill will tomorrow, Friday November 30 2018 begin their planned road action to sensitise the generality of the Ghanaian people on the importance of the Bill and why they must play a part to pressure parliament to pass it.
Already, they Coalition has secured an approval from the Ghana Police Service to embark on the road activities which include the distribution of stickers and flyers at various locations in Accra and its environs.
Tomorrow will also mark the commencement of the Red Friday as declared by the Coalition and its partners.
The following is the detailed itenary and locations for the exercise tomorrow.
- Tema Station
- Tudu-Accra Central
- Accra Mall
- Emmanuel Eye Clinic traffic lights
- Kwame Nkrumah Circle
- Ridge roundabout
- The distribution of flyers and interaction with people starts from 7am to 10am.
- Leaders of Civil Society Organisations will converge at Parliament @10 and sit at the public gallery.
