The Convention People’s Party (CPP) is inviting the generality of the Ghanaian people to a 3 day national prayer and fasting as part of Republic Day celebrations.
The national prayer and fasting session will begin on the 1st of July and end on 3rd July 2019, according to a statement under the hand of the General Secretary of the Party, James Kwabena Bomfeh Jnr.
‘’The call is part of the year-long 70th anniversary and rebirth of the Party that led Ghana into being. We need a renewal of the abiding faith of old. This exercise of faith is in line with our secularity and unitary agenda of building a robust and cohesive nation. So every Ghanaian is enjoined to undertake the prayer and fast according to the dictates of their faith; Christian, Islam, African Traditional Religion as well as all other faiths’’ the statement added.
