Commercial Passenger service for Takoradi-Tarkwa railway line begins February 5, 2020

The Ghana Railway Company Limited has announced the commencement of commercial passenger service on the Takoradi-Tarkwa railway line route from February 5, 2020.

BestNewsGH.com can confirm that, in the meantime, the company has decided to offer free passenger service on the route on January 28, 30 and 31 to passengers.

The decision to commence the passenger service, according to the company emanates from test runs it has conducted and the certification it has received from the Ghana Railway Development Company.
