Dantata Universal Services Nigeria Ltd. (DUS) in partnership with VFS Global, an outsourcing and technology services specialists for governments and diplomatic missions worldwide, has opened a centre in Accra to offer enrolment services for Nigerians residing in Ghana wishing to obtain their National Identification Number (NIN).

The opening of the centre, according to DUS and VFS Global, forms part of efforts to support the initiative by Nigeria’s National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), to enrol Nigerian adults and children in the diaspora onto the country’s National Identity Database (NIDB).

Opened in August 2019, the centre is located on the first floor of Atlantic Tower, opposite Marina Mall at Accra’s Airport City.

Appointments can be obtained beforehand online for the National Identification Number enrolment and subsequent issuance of General Multi-Purpose Card (GMPC) to eligible Nigerian citizens.

A dedicated contact centre and email support services are also available for applicants to answer queries and track the status of their applications.

The NIN is a unique set of 11 digits issued to Nigerian citizens in the diaspora.
