Information reaching BestNewsGH.com indicate that former GFA president Kwesi Nyantakyi has been banned from all football related activities at both national and international levels for life.
The adjudicatory chamber of FIFA found Mr. Nyanktakyi guilty of having violated article 19, conflict of interest, article 21, bribery and corruption and article 22, corruption of the FIFA code of ethics 2012 edition.
A statement issued by the world football governing body said as a result, Mr. Nyantaky is banned for life from football related activities at both national and international levels.
Additionally, a fine in the amount of 500 thousand CHF has been imposed on Mr. Nyantakyi who was notified of the decision today.
The ban according to the statement takes effect immediately.
