Breaking: Nadowli/Kaleo NPP suspends 2016 Parliamentary candidate indefinitely

The Nadowli/Kaleo Constituency of the New Patriotic Party has indefinitely suspended the party’s 2016 parliamentary candidate Elvis Banoemuleng Botah for various offenses. The suspension follows recommendations from the constituency disciplinary committee which investigated various allegations against Mr. Botah.

The suspension letter issued today under the hand of the the constituency Chairman, Mr. Martin Andonye and intercepted by, cited Mr. Botah for constitutional breaches, gross misconduct, insabordination and disrespect for elders of the party in the constituency among other allegations. The letter said the suspension is in accordance with article 3 (7) (2) of the party’s constitution.
