The ruling New Patriotic Party in the Bole-Bamboi Constituency has described as lies, allegations by the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the constituency that projects initiated the previous NDC administration have been left unattended by the current government to rot away.

They have also described the communicator who made the assertion on Bole based Nkiligi Fm as a fugitive who does not speak for the party.

A statement issued by the NPP communications team in the constituency and signed by Akati Mahama, the communications officer for the constituency read in part that ‘’ Firstly, Mr Awudu Rafiu used to communicate for the NPP Bole-Bamboi constituency  but stopped communicating for the party and also stopped attending communicators meetings around December 2017’’.

‘’His reasons for not communicating were frivolous and it was to the effect that he couldn’t wait for the six months probation period given him for his salary to be regularised as Bole District Zoomlion Manager. Three months into his job he vacated post and would not supervised his workers. He was changed and since then Awudu Rafiu never attended any meetings organised by the communications team and also never communicated for the party any radio station’’ the statement added.

RE: BOLE : MAHAMA PROJECTS LEFT TO ROT -NPP COMMUNICATOR BEMOANS

With reference to a publication cited on Ghanaweb and aired on Nkiligi FM 103.7 FM a radio station based in Bole on the 25th of March, 2019 on the above topic which is purported to have been sanctioned by one Awudu Rafiu a former communicator for the NPP in the Bole-Bamboi Constituency .

We the members of the communication team of the New Patriotic Party Bole-Bamboi Constituency wish to set the records straight.

Firstly, Mr Awudu Rafiu used to communicate for the NPP Bole-Bamboi constituency  but stopped communicating for the party and also stopped attending communicators meetings around December 2017.

His reasons for not communicating were frivolous and it was to the effect that he couldn’t wait for the six months probation period given him for his salary to be regularised as Bole District Zoomlion Manager. Three months into his job he vacated post and would not supervised his workers. He was changed and since then Awudu Rafiu never attended any meetings organised by the communications team and also never communicated for the party any radio station.

Secondly, the said radio station Nkiligi FM 103.7 MHZ which is the source of this publication is owned by the opposition leader John Dramani Mahama of the NDC and also managed by one Mahama Haruna who is known to be an ardent supporter of  the opposition leader John Dramani Mahama and also known to have switch his support he had for the NPP to the NDC since election 2012. Indeed this publication was hurriedly put together ahead of a series of publications the NPP communications team had put in place to expose the former president’s abysmal performance in his own home town. This publication would not deter the NPP communication team Bole-Bamboi Constituency from exposing his incompetence in addressing a mirage of problems confronting his own people which he refused to address before his heavy defeat.

Thirdly, we the members of the communication team NPP Bole-Bamboi Constituency would want to expose the lies that were chained out in the publication on the 25th of March 2019 in Ghanaweb and same aired on Nkiligi FM in Bole.

  1. The publication talked about an educational fund which should have been established in the Bole-Bamboi Constituency to benefit the good people of the area.

The former president John Dramani Mahama has been a member of parliament in the Bole-Bamboi Constituency for twelve years, during that period he served as deputy communications minister and became a substantive minister for those years yet he couldn’t connect Bole to GTV.  Also he couldn’t establish an educational fund for Bole District.

In fact he rose to become vice president and also president but still have nothing to show.

We thought the publication was going to enumerate to the world the particular projects that are being left to rot in the Bole-Bamboi Constituency. We can’t find any projects started by the opposition leader John Dramani Mahama let alone the Nana Addo government allowing them to rot.

  1. Yes a supposed Teacher Training College was being built and checks made by the Communication team revealed that the Mahama lead administration in their last minute attempt to deceive and coerce the people of Bole /Bamboi into voting for him,but failed in that regard. As a matter of fact there is no trace of documents on the said proposed Teacher Training College at the ministry of education and the Bole District assembly. This has exposed the former president John Dramani Mahama big time within the Constituency and indeed opinion leaders, young and old all feel deceived by the the former president John Dramani Mahama.

By this release, I want to also bring to the notice of the party and Ghanaians at large that  RAFIU Awudu has been officially suspended from the communications team and has been warned never to hold himself as a communications team member of our grate party.

In conclusion we the communication team members of the NPP Bole-Bamboi Constituency would go ahead with our plan to expose the former president on his abysmal performance especially in his own backyard for the people of Ghana to see and to come to terms that the opposition leader John Dramani Mahama has nothing to offer to the good people of Ghana.

Thank you all and may God bless our homeland Ghana.

Signed by

AKATI MAHAMA

Communications Officer NPP.
