AWA agrees to start commercial flights to Wa in October

Indigenous Ghanaian Airline, Africa World Airlines has after meetings and deliberations with the Minister and officials of the Aviation Ministry, agreed to commence commercial flights to Wa, the Upper West Regional Capital, from October 2019.

A statement from the Aviation Ministry and signed by the the sector Minister, Joseph Kofi Adda gave the tentative date for the commencement of the flights as October 15, 2019.

‘’This feat has been achieved in collaboration with the Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL), the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) and the local airlines operating in the country’’ the statement read in part.
