Certainly one of the oldest persons on planet earth, Swami Sivananda of India has never laid a woman in his entire life, and therefore qualifies to be called a virgin.
Born on August 8 1892, Mr. Sivananda said the secret to his longevity is not eating junk or fancy foods and that he has never slept with a woman in his entire life.
Mr. Sivananda who spoke to the Hindustan times averred that “I lead a simple and disciplined life. I eat very simply, only boiled food without oil or spices, rice and boiled daal”.

He added that “Discipline is the most important thing is life. One can conquer anything with discipline in food habits, exercise, and sexual desires.”
Recalling his difficult childhood, Mr. Sivananda explained that he was born into a poor family, adding that his parents died when he was just 6 years old.
He was born in the era where there was no electricity, cars and telephones and therefore is not moved or enthused by the era of technology which has engulfed the world.
According to him, he prefers to be on his own.
He opined that “Control over your needs is the biggest gain in life. I have lived for so long because material things don’t make me happy.”
