Leading Member and communications team member of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Felix Dugbatey has said the party’s General Secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah should be shot and killed for the atrocities he has committed against the party, particularly his role in the party’s defeat in the 2016 elections.

‘’Had it not been the rule of law that we are practising in Ghana and if the NDC was a communist party, after the 2016 elections poor showing, immediately Mr. Asiedu Nketiah announced his intention to seek re-election, he should have been bundled and taken straight to the Teshie shooting range and shot and killed for the atrocities he committed against the NDC.’’ He said on an Accra based radio station and monitored by BestNewsGH.com.

Mr. Dugbatey squarely blames the general secretary for the loss of several parliamentary seats in the Brong Ahafo region which is his own home region ‘’saying if you could not influence your own home region, your own constituency and your own branch, which other region can   you influence? And he allowed the party to lose in all of them, then what kind of leader are you?. He has depreciated terribly and his hometown people have rejected him. If today there is an election in the Tain constituency (Mr. Asiedu Nketiah’s hometown) between him and Koku Anyidoho, they will vote for Mr. Anyidoho’’.

He added ‘’the tactics that he is playing now, you know how they call Morinho now, they call him the finished one. Asiedu Nketiah is the finished one. There is no tactics he can play again. It is all finished. What is left are the Kwaku Ananse tricks and that cannot even win an assembly man election’’.
