The Director of Transport and logistics at the office of the President, Odeneho Nana Oppong has vowed to sue the General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia for accusing him falsely.

According to him, General Mosquito as the NDC chief scribe is popularly known has impugned his integrity and will not be allowed to go scot free without proving the allegations he leveled against him in a court of competent jurisdiction.

Mr. Asiedu Nketia speaking on Accra based okay Fm and monitored by BestNewsGH.com opined that Nana Odeneho’s vehicle which has a customized registration number was among vehicles which were spotted in a convoy of national security vehicles along the Accra-Kumasi stretch, abusing state resources.

‘’That particular car has the registration number ‘Odeneho 1’ and I have reported this matter to all the relevant authorities including the Inspector General of Police to help aid in their investigations and they have done absolutely nothing about it’’ he said.

But reacting to the accusation on the same network, Odeneho Nana Oppong said the allegations were baseless, malicious and without merit.

According to him, the NDC General Secretary would be hauled before a competent court of law to answer for accusing him and to show proof of the allegations.

‘’Asiedu Nketia has made me rich because I will sue him for telling lies against me. I have no car that has been licensed ‘Odeneho 1’. So he should meet me in court and tell the court where he saw the car and show that the car actually belongs to me. I am not the only one called Odeneho in Ghana. I will instruct my lawyer to take action immediately. I won’t take this matter low at all because he has assassinated my character and told an outright lie against me on national radio’’ he said.
