‘’Politicians, civil society, the Ghana Road Safety Commission and various interest groups have continued to bemoan these accidents yet it is not abating. Mr. Boahene further stated that ‘’The AnnaGrace Foundation, with branches in the United Kingdom, the United States and headquartered in Ghana, is purposed to take up the challenge. He explained that the Foundation had taken cognizance of the challenges being faced by the various health facilities in terms of appropriate equipment to cater for the needs of patients, hence the donation.

‘’The recent accident at Kintanpo in which several innocent citizens lost their lives and others get maimed is too fresh in our minds. The AnnaGrace Foundation noting that our various hospitals are inadequately equipped when it comes to support services for victims have today decided to donate 10 state- of- the- art wheelchairs to the Police Hospital. The first in a series of donations that would be made to various hospitals across the country’’ Mr. Boahene added.
