The first regional vice chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party in the Brong Ahafo Region, Kwame Baffoe, popularly known as Abronye DC has alleged that investigative Journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas was paid 3.5 Million dollars to drop his investigative piece on Parliament.

According to him, that is how come Ghanaians never got to see the much publicized investigative video on Ghana’s Parliament.

Mr. Boffoe explained that Ministers of state, most of whom doubled as Members of Parliament were caught in the video, collecting various sums including other dubious and corrupt deals in 2016.

He said the affected persons were shown the video and asked to pay specific amounts, culminating in him making a whopping 3.5 Million Dollars from that particular investigative piece from Parliament.

‘’If they say I am lying, please ask Anas and Kweku Baako where that particular investigative video is. Why didn’t they show it? Ghanaians want to know. They negotiated with the affected ministers, took money from them and held on to the video’’ he added.
