Loudmouth ruling New Patriotic Party Member of Parliament for Assin Central Constituency in the Central Region, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has described Adom Fm’s broadcast journalist Captain Smart as a hypocrite who has no moral right to question the embattled Director General of the Ghana Maritime Authority, Kwame Owusu who has come under fire in recent times of approving some 135 thousand Ghana cedis for an end of year party for staff of the authority.

Mr. Agyapong said Captain Smart’s criticism of the Director General for having 11 air conditioners in his official residence is hypocritical because he (Captain Smart) has 14 air conditioners in his house at Tantra Hills in Accra.

He also described the journalist as bogus and corrupt who takes bribes from people in order to shield them, likening his attitude to that of a blackmailer.

‘’Captain Smart has 14 air conditioners in his house. How can he turn around and accuse Kwame Owusu of installing 11 air conditioners in his house? Cheap, corrupt journalist like that, who takes bribe everywhere. He and that Komla Klutse guy at TV3 are the two faceless people who are trying to hang the man (Kwame Owusu). But even if the president fires Kwame Owusu today, he will not go hungry because he is an accomplished man. He will not go and be a cleaner in Captain Smarts’ house and he will not be a cleaner in Komla Klutse’s house. Bogus people like that’’ he fumed on Adom Television’s Badwam programme.
