The national roll-out of the registration exercise will commence on 1st November 2018 at Adentan and Madina in the Greater Accra Region.
In all, some 2,700 Commissioners of Oath who will be superintending over the process have been recruited.
The Judicial Service of Ghana also completed a rigorous interview of these Commissioners on Friday 12 October 2018.
A 10-day intensive training for the commissioners will commence on Tuesday 16 October 2018 after which all 2,700 Commissioners will be fully deployed for the national rollout.
In the interim, the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and other leaders of the country, Ministers, Traditional Leaders and some captains of industry have been duly registered whilst the exercise is still ongoing in some selected institutions and companies in the country.
Ghana now possesses a robust system which has been tried and tested by NIA.
The National Identification Authority (NIA) says it is progressing with its methodical approach to cover all grounds and ensure that registering all Ghanaians and citizens of Ghana becomes a success.
