Barbara Kemigisa 32 and her 3 children are HIV positive, but that has not dampened their spirits as they have chosen to make a difference in their society.

Barbara used her Facebook page to share pictures of herself and her children and the burden of swallowing medication everyday of their lives.

She narrates how each of them according their age, takes the accompanying number of tablets as prescribed for them by their physician.

Barbara and the kids have taken to educating their community about the dangers of HIV and answers questions in public places including lorry parks.

She wrote ‘’my babies and I displaying our burden of living with HIV. Kourtney 9years 11 tablets, Trevor 17 years 20 tablets, Dauglas 22 years 3 tablets, Barbara 32 years 3 tablets daily. If you still have a chance and choice to stay safe, please do because it isn’t fun swallowing these pills everyday especially for the kids born with the virus. Catch us tomorrow answering questions and displaying the pills at the old taxi park’’
