Nigeria: 50 suspected homosexuals arrested during an orgy in Kano

The Sharia police in the State of Kano in Nigeria, popularly known as Hisbah have reportedly arrested about 50 Men suspected of being homosexuals during an all-night orgy.

The event according to BestNewsGH.com sources was held to celebrate the graduation of the suspects who just graduated from the University when the sharia law enforcement operatives stormed the compound in which the event was being held and arrested them.

BestNewsGH.com sources also have it that each of the fresh graduates invited their same sex partners to the event as they found the venue a safe haven to have orgies to commemorate their graduation.

Confirming the arrest of the suspects, a Senior Hisbah Commander, Mallam Tasiu was emphatic that those arrested were indeed gays, adding that the operatives effected the arrest following intelligence it had gathered.

He averred that beside the 50 suspects that were arrested, some of them had bolted and are still at large.

Mallam Tasiu said the suspects are currently being taken through reorientation and counseling in accordance with the tenets and teachings of Islam.

He said it was mandatory for the suspects to be taken through the reorientation and counseling before they are put before court or otherwise.
