The Ashanti Regional Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Sam Pyne says the 2020 General elections will be a decider between President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, John Dramani Mahama.

According to him, the 2016 elections was a rematch between the two, following their earlier encounter in 2012.

Mr. Pyne who was speaking on Accra based Peace Fm and monitored by BestNewsGH.com said the 2020 elections will show who is Superior in terms of better management of the country and the economy.

He said it will show who amongst the two men the generality of the Ghanaian people believes in.

Mr. Pyne observed that former President John Mahama has already been dealt a severe blow by his own party stalwarts such as Mr. Alban Bagbin, Dr. Ekwow Spio Garbrah and Professor Joshua Alabi who all believe that he is deficient in terms of managing the economy and governing the country, hence their decision to challenge him for the NDC presidential candidacy.

“Mr. Bagbin came out and spoke loudly against Mr. Mahama and said he was the worst thing that ever happened to the country in terms of leadership, so that verdict has been passed already” he said.
