Secretary to the Inter-Ministerial Committee on Illegal Mining (IMCIM) Charles Bissue who stepped aside a few weeks ago to allow for investigations into allegations of corruption emanating from the recently released investigative piece by Tiger Eye PI and its boss Anas Aremeyaw Anas on the Mining sector is impressing upon the police to direct Tiger Eye PI and its boss to submit the raw unedited video footage to help in investigations.
This he believes will lead to the unraveling of the truth in the matter and to get the generality of the Ghanaian people to know the truth, while proving his innocence.
‘’I have subjected myself to the laws of Ghana and since no one is above the law, I urge Tiger Eye PI and Anas Aremeyaw Anas to provide the CID with the ‘raw unedited footages’, so that the good people of Ghana can have the benefit of knowing the truth’’ he said in a statement issued a while ago.
Mr. Bissue reiterated his commitment to continue to cooperate with the law enforcement agencies and investigators and to assist them bring finality to the matter.
‘’ I reiterate that, in the course of my duty as the Secretary to the IMCIM, I have never received any money as consideration to render a service as a public officer’’ he added.
