Charles Bissue storms police CID, promises to cooperate with investigators into ‘Galamsey Fraud’

Secretary to the Inter-Ministerial Committee on Illegal Mining (IMCIM) Charles Bissue who stepped aside a few weeks ago to allow for investigations into allegations of corruption emanating from the recently released investigative piece by Tiger Eye PI and its boss Anas Aremeyaw Anas on the Mining sector yesterday, Friday March 15 2019 stormed the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service to help in investigations.

This was at the invitation of the Police CID who are currently investigating corruption allegations against Mr. Bissue and some other government appointees following from the latest piece by Mr. Anas and his team dubbed ‘Galamsey Fraud’.

Mr. Bissue in a statement he issue a while ago said ‘’ On Friday, 15 March, 2019, I was invited by the Criminal Investigation Department of the Ghana Police Service to help them with their investigation to the said case, which I honoured’’.

While assuring of his continuous commitment to cooperate with investigators to get to the bottom of the matter, Mr. Bissue expressed his profound gratitude to friends and acquaintances who, believing in his incorruptible nature has stood by him all this while.

He said ‘’I have also noted with considerable interest, the many well-wishing messages and solidarity demonstrated by friends and acquaintances from all walks of life who believe in my integrity and can attest to my values and principles’’.
