Zongo Development Minister meets Muslim leaders and elders in Adentan, community requests health facility and SHS.

The Minister for Inner Cities and Zongo Development, Dr. Mustapha Abdul- Hamid has met with the Adentan Municipal Council of Muslim Chiefs, Imams, Elders and the youth at Ashaley Botwe New Town.

The Minister honored the invitation to discuss pertinent issues confronting the Ashaley Botwe Zongo community. Dr. Mustapha Abdul-Hamid was informed that the entire Ashaley Botwe community did not have a health facility.

They said the community also needed a government secondary school.

The Dagomba Chief of the area, Alhaji Abdul Kadir Yakubu Moli, disclosed that the Ashaley Botwe Family had granted plots of land at Ashaley Botwe New Town for the construction of a health facility and a secondary school.

The grantor of the land, Numo Clement Botie Kojo, the Head of Ashaley Botwe family, who was present at the event also appealed for the construction of the two facilities.

The Minister on his part told the gathering that education was his priority and promised to liaise with his colleague Ministers and other stakeholders to ensure those two projects are considered for construction.
