The National Organiser of the ruling New Patriotic party (NPP), Mr. Sammi Awuku has eulogized President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Describing the President’ handling of the pandemic as spectacular, the iconic and charismatic NPP National Organiser said the president’s update on the pandemic last night during which he outlined some mouthwatering packages and incentives for health workers playing a lead role and Ghanaians in general was just at the right time.
BestNewsGH.com reports Mr. Awuku who is also the Board Chairman of the Youth Employment Agency as taking to his Facebook page to commend the President for the bold decisions he announced during the update.
He wrote: Great, Courageous and Decisive Leadership, just at the right time.. Kudos Mr. President for your spectacular handling of the pandemic.
The president during the COVID-19 update, the 5th, which was broadcast to the nation, announced several measures including free water for the generality of the Ghanaian people for the next three months, and a 50 percent allowance of the basic pay for all front-line healthcare providers. Again, the president announced a 3 month tax holiday for all frontline health workers.
