YEA Board, Management, Ambassadors storm Manhyia; introduces flagship programmes to Otumfuo

The Governing Board, Management and some Ambassadors of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) yesterday, Friday, July 26, 2019, stormed the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi.

The occasion was a courtesy call on the occupant of the Golden Stool, the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.

Led by the hardworking Chairman, Sammi Awuku, the delegation interacted with the revered King and introduced the Agency’s flagship programmes and initiatives including the Job Centre and the Artisan Directory  to him.

The Board Chairman used the occasion to reiterate the commitment of the Agency to see to the full implementation of the flagship programmes and initiatives for the ultimate benefit of the Ghanaian youth.

Mr. Awuku was optimistic that the desired results and impact would be made and felt with the implementation of the programmes and initiatives, explaining that they have been crafted with the Ghanaian youth in mind.

On his part, the Asantehene extolled the delegation not  to let the younger generation down.

He  commended their resolve, commitment and desire to help support the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo led Administration with such programs, which are  aimed at alleviating poverty and tackling unemployment among the Youth.
