Vivo Energy, operators of Shell, has launch a new loyalty programme to reward its customers across the country.
The first comprehensive loyalty programme Dubbed “Shell Club” will reward all category of motorists, who buy from Shell Service Stations dotted across the country.
The management said, the programme will be rolled out to over 100 selected Shell Service Stations and will be extended to all service stations across the country in due course.
To join the Shell Club and enjoy the many gifts customers will have to visit Shell Service Stations to sign-on with just their cell phone number.
They will then be given their Shell Club loyalty card and a tag. Club members will be asked to either complete their registration through the Shell Africa App, the website or through Shell dedicated call center.
Speaking at the launch, the Managing Director of Vivo Energy Ghana, Mr. Ben Hassan Ouattara said, Vivo Energy Ghana has over the years been engaged in research to know the needs of the customers.
The Shell Club Programme is purely designed to meet the needs of customers and focused on rewarding the loyalty of the customers of the company across the country.
The Shell brand has been in existence in Ghana for over 90 years, superior consumer insights and exceeding customers expectations this has kept the brand vibrant over this years.
“Vivo Energy Ghana understands the needs of the customers, and every two years roll out new products to satisfy the trending needs of the customers”, Mr. Ouattara added.
In an interview with Mr. Jerry Boachie Danquah, Marketing Manager of Vivo Energy Ghana explained, that the programme intends to reward everyone, even customers who just walk in to shop at all Shell shops across the country.
Reward Packages for customers ranges from Airtime, free shopping from retail shops, restaurants, Insurance packages, Health and Fitness, Entertainment and Transport services.
This, according to management, is a full year Programme, unlike the promotions that last for a period of time.
How does this Loyalty Programme work
The Programme is open to all customers of Shell to register online to build-up points anytime they shop or buy lubricant from the hundred and three (103) Shell Filling Stations across Ghana.
Shell Club Partners
The Loyalty Programme has partnership from telecommunications companies like MTN Ghana, Vodafone Ghana, AirtelTigo, Glo Ghana. Other partners includes Melcom Ghana, Shell Shops and CompuGhana. Some rewards include meals from some reputable restaurants in Ghana, Insurance packages from Hollard Life and Allianz Insurance, entertainment packages from, Roverman Production and Silver star cinema, among others.
