UWR: you have been a pillar to Lawsec, we thank you-Lawsec old boys eulogise Naa Karbo

The leadership of the Lawra Senior High School Old Boys Association have eulogised the paramount chief of the Lawra traditional area, Naa Puowelle Karbo III for his immense contribution to the school in terms of guidance and direction over the years.

The group was led by the Municipal Chief Executive for Lawra, Bomba-Ire Martin who is also an old Boy of the school.

The National Organizer of the Old Boys Association, Mr Ali Chefa who spoke on behalf of the Executives expressed their profound gratitude to the revered traditional ruler and his elders as well as the traditional council for the support they offered the school, particularly as they celebrate the Golden Jubilee anniversary of the school.

Recognizing the crucial role that the traditional council played, they presented a citation to the paramount chief on behalf of the old Boys Association, adding that, they were surprised to see the president and number one citizen Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo taking part in the celebrations.

They thanked the Member of Parliament for the Lawra constituency, the Hon.  Anthony Abayifaa Karbo for the role he played, especially bringing the president to Lawra to join in the celebration in spite his tight and busy schedule.

He added that, plans are far advanced to express such courtesy to the Member of Parliament for the great support and contribution he offered them, “It will go down history” he added.
